Student Email

All Macquarie students are issued with a University email account which is accessed via the myMQ Student Portal.

It is University policy that the University-issued email account will be used for all official University communication. All students are required to access their University account frequently. Alternatively, email can be forwarded to another account but each student is responsible for the information sent to a non-Macquarie account and for managing mailbox size to ensure that account remains active.

You can access the myMQ Student Portal at https://my.mq.edu.au

If you are a new Student there is a first-time login process to complete. This is linked from the myMQ homepage. This process will ask you questionos to confirm your identity and allow you to set up a password of your choice.

Your Email Address can be viewed in the portal.

The student email format will be your first name and surname first.lastn@students.mq.edu.au
Where n=a number used to distinguish you from other students with the same name.

Using the Portal Calendar service you can set up your own timetables, tasks, events and reminders to help you plan your activities.
