Remote Access to Macquarie University e-Resources

Most Library databases and e-resources are available off-campus for Macquarie University staff and students.

Access to Databases & Online Journals

• Use Databases or Journal Finder to locate and link to an electronic resource
• When prompted, enter your username and password (see below)

Note: Under our licence agreements the use of the databases is restricted to current Macquarie University students and staff for study and research purposes only.

Access to e-Reserve Documents

• Use the e-Reserve page to locate unit materials, past exam papers and readings
• When prompted, enter your username and password (see below)

Usernames and Passwords

Students
Use your Student ID Number and myMQ Portal Password

Staff
Your username is your staff number; your password is the last 8-digits of the barcode on your campus card.

SIBT Students
Remote access to e-Reserve is available using your SIBT number and password to view tutorial and lecture notes only. Databases must be used within the Library.
